Two brothers were today arrested for allegedly assaulting a traffic policeman who had stopped their car while trying to take a u-turn at a restricted point in the city, police said.
The two allegedly assaulted traffic constable Ashoke Patra when he prevented them from taking the u-turn at the crossing of C R Avenue and Ramdulala Sarkar Street under Girish Park police stations limits.
The duo came down from the car and assaulted the traffic constable, police said.
