2 held for illicit liquor supply

Lalit Pal was apprehended from Bhogal and 1,000 bottles of countrymade liquor and 100 bottles of Green Label whiskey were recovered from his possession, they said.

Pal, a driver, used to supply illicit liquor in Burai in Delhi and Meerut in UP.

In a similar case, Rajesh Yadav (32) was apprehended from Mongolpuri area yesterday and a car and 10 cartons of illicit liquor were recovered from his possession.

Yadav, an unemployed youth, used to supply illicit liquor to bootleggers in Aman Vihar, Sultanpuri and Mangolpuri.

Recently, he purchased a car for this purpose only, police said.
