2 held for killing chinkara

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a Chinkara (Indian gazelle) here, police said today.

Sukhram and Senuram were detained and later arrested after a join team of police and forest department conducted a raid and recovered uncooked meat from a place near canal area in Ramgarh last night, police said.

Another accused identified as Ramkishan is absconding, they said.

The accused had allegedly killed the chinkara and were about to cook the meat when the raid was conducted following a tip off, police sources said.
