Two persons were arrested and demonetised notes having a facevalue of Rs 10 lakh was seized from them at Dumad Chokdi on the outskirts of the city, police said.
They were arrested when police were checking vehicles passing through Dumad Chokdi late last night, said police.
During search of their car, the scrapped notes of Rs 500 were kept in a bag.
The police has informed the Income Tax department about the seizure.
