2 injured in fire in phosphorous grinding unit

Two workers suffered serious injuries when a fire broke out in a phosphorous grinding unit near here today.

Police said the fire broke out due to a spark caused by friction in the grinding machine, police said adding further investigations were on.

Amarnath and Gautham suffered serious injuries in the accident and had been hospitalised, they said.

Police registered a case and are investigating.
