2 killed, 1 injured as lightning strikes

Two persons were killed and another got injured when lightning struck at Ausgram in Burdwan district today.

Rakhahari Mondal and Buddhadev Mela were working in the paddy field when they were struck by lightning at around 3 pm, police sources said.

While both died on the spot, another farmer, working nearby received burn injuries.
