2 killed as auto-rickshaw overturns

Two persons were killed today and as many injured when the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling overturned, police said.

The mishap occurred this morning when the auto-rickshaw was coming from railway station here, a senior police official said.

The auto-rickshaw hit a divider of a bridge and turned turtle in Kuvarbav area. The driver Ishwar Dodamani along with the three passengers sustained injuries. Dodamani and a passenger Ashok Chavan (55) were declared dead at a hospital, the officer said, adding a probe was on.
