2 killed as truck hits tempo in UP

Two people were killed and four others injured when the three-wheeler tempo in which they were travelling was hit by a truck at the SSP crossing under Civil Lines police station area here, police said today.

The accident took place last night when the truck hit the tempo while trying to overtake it, killing Rajesh (30) and Raees (21) on the spot, they said.

Four other passengers in the tempo were injured in the incident and admitted to a local hospital, police said, adding that bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
