2 killed, five injured in road mishap

Two persons were today killed and five others injured when a car was hit by a bulldozer in Gurubuxganj area here, police said.

One of the victims, identified as Salman (30), was travelling with his family in the car when a bulldozer rammed into it killing him and a pedestrian Srikrisnha Lodhi (39) on the spot.

The five injured car passengers were rushed to the hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.

An FIR has been registered in the matter and police is trying to trace whereabouts of the erring driver.
