2 killed in lightning in UP

Two persons were killed after being hit by lightning in Baghira area here, police said today.

Jitendra (26) and Shriram (30) were killed when they were struck by lightning in Nandaur village late last evening, they said.

District Magistrate Ajaydeep Singh said that a compensation of Rs 1.5 lakh would be given to the kin of the victims.
