2 Markfed employees arrested

Two employees of cooperative Markfed were today arrested for alleged embezzlement of wheat stock worth Rs 1.34 crore.

During a checking of the wheat stocks, it was found that the two employees, including a branch Manager of Markfed, who were posted at Nihalsingh Wala allegedly misappropriated the stock worth Rs 1.34 crore, police said.

The two arrested employees were identified as branch manager Devinder Singh and Ramkishen.
