2 minor girls drown while bathing in river

Two minor girls drowned while taking a bath in a river in the Dewa area, police said here today.

According to police, Shaleen (13) and Khushboo (11) drowned after they were caught in a strong current while bathing yesterday in Kalyani river.

The bodies of both girls have been retrieved, police added.
