2 minor girls injured in leopard attack

Two minor girls were today injured after a leopard attacked them at Katkuiyan village in Bankatwar Forest range here this morning.

Sheela (4) and Prarthana (1) were sleeping in their house when a leopard attacked them, police said.

Both of them were rushed to the hospital in an injured state where the condition of one was stated to be serious, they said.

Uttar Pradesh Minister of Zoological Gardens, S P Yadav said that compensation would be provided to victim's family after completion of inquiry.
