2 smugglers arrested with 90 kg forest produce

Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested two alleged smugglers with 90 kg forest produce from Doda district.

Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a vehicle in Thathri belt of Doda district and apprehended one Abdul Latief Sheikh and Mohammad Azad besides recovering 90 kg of 'Nag Chattri' forest produce from them, police said.

The vehicle used in the smuggling was also seized, they said, adding, a case under Forest Act was registered at Thathri police station.
