2 suspected militants killed in bomb blast

Two suspected militants were killed in a bomb blast in Manipur's Thoubal district tonight, the police said.

The bomb, suspected to have been kept in a two-wheeler, exploded in Yairipok area at about 9.15 PM, they said.

Two mutilated bodies and a mangled two-wheeler were found from the spot.

From the driving licence, one of the deceased was identified as Nameirakpam Boboi of Poiroukhongjil of Imphal East district, the police said.
