20 injured in bridge collapse
About 20 persons were injuired when the steel footbridge they were crossing collapsed at Ogai-Peraiyur near here today, police said.
The foot-bridge had been laid across the Vellaru river linking Ogai-Peraiyur and Poosangudi.
The Injured had been admitted to the Government Medical college Hospital here.
