200 DMDK workers held for anti-liquor protest

About 200 DMDK volunteers were today arrested when they attempted to hold a human chain agitation demanding total prohibition.

Police said the volunteers, led by the DMDK North District President Balachandran, were arrested as they had not obtained permission for the agitation.
