21 booked for forging documents for job

At least 21 people have been booked for furnishing forged documents seeking government jobs, police said today.

A case of cheating has been registered against 21 trainee teachers at the Kotwali police station for submitting forged documents while applying for jobs, Basic Shiksha Adhikari Jai Singh said.

Counselling for 1,700 posts of trainee teachers was held in 2011. Upon scrutiny, 21 of them were found to have submitted fake documents, Singh said.
