Customs officials today seized 21 gold biscuits worth about Rs one crore from three passengers arrived here from Dubai.
The officials subjected the passengers, hailing from Malappuram district, to detailed examination and recovered the gold biscuits concealed in their rectum, a Customs press release said here.
Each biscuit weighed 116.6 grams. The three had concealed seven biscuits each in their body and were acting as carriers for monetary benefits. The gold biscuits were of 24 carat purity, the release said.
