22 arrested for gambling

Twenty-two people have been arrested from a resort in Alipur area of outer Delhi on charges of gambling, police said today.

According to police, all the accused are local businessmen and were arrested yesterday evening.

The raid was conducted by a police team led by Additional Commissioner of Police following a tip off.

Police have registered a case under the gambling Act against the arrested persons.

Police also seized Rs 2.75 lakh in cash.
