22 boys escape from juvenile home

Twenty two boys, including eight Bangladeshis, who were lodged in Jalpaiguri Juvenile Home have fled the Home, police sources said today.

Last night, the boys broke open the collapsible gate and fled the Home located in Korok area of Jalpaiguri town, the sources said.

Three of the boys have been apprehended by police, they said, adding search was on for the rest.

All the boys were in age group of 12-18.
