At least 23 pilgrims were injured when the roof of a 'dharmshala' collapsed on them at Areraj in East Champaran district, DSP Nurul Haque said today.
The incident took place last night as the roof of Kedia dharamshala collapsed trapping scores of pilgrims under its rubble.
At least 23 of them sustained injuries, he said.

While 20 of them were undergoing treatment at the Primary Health Centre at Areraj, three others whose condition was serious were admitted to Sadar hospital here.
The pilgrims had gathered at the Kedia dharamshala for overnight stay ahead of pilgrimage to nearby Sidheshwarnath Temple, Haque said.
