25 students held for protesting against new educational policy

A total of 25 students from various organisations were arrested today when they attempted to stage a demonstration near the railway station protesting the National Education Policy, drafted by the Centre.

The students shouted slogans against the policy, and claimed that this would deprive the rights of state governments on the education sector.
