250 gm of gold seized from passenger

250 gm of gold, valued at Rs 9 lakh, was today seized from a passenger who arrived by an Air India Dubai-Calicut flight at Karippur International Airport.

Air Customs Intelligence seized the gold in the form of a key and lock of vanity bag from the registered baggage, official sources said.

The passenger, Mohammed Aslam, is from Kasargod district, they said.
