26,000 cases pending in Cachar courts

Cachar CJM Ajoy Kumar Barua told PTI that 3600 cases are pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate and the number of csaes pending for more than five years in Cachar was more than 5000.

The number of pending cases in the courts here are much more in comparison to other districts of Assam, he added.
