Three brothers have been arrested for allegedly entering a house Sultanpuri police station area and attacking the occupants in 2003, police said today.
Searches were on for the fourth sibling who is also an accused in the case.
Police said the arrested trio -- Gajender Kumar, Daljeet Singh and Devender Kumar -- were proclaimed offenders in a case registered at Sultanpuri police station in October 2003 under charges of house trespass and causing grievous hurt.
"Their fourth brother Raj Kumar, who is also a proclaimed offender in this case, has been absconding and efforts are on to nab him," a police officer said.
Raj Kumar is also an accused in another case of gang rape of two girls registered at Bhajan Pura police station, said the officer.
