3 commit suicide in Jammu

Three persons, including a girl, allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in separate incidents in Jammu and Udhampur districts, police said today.

Sapna Devi, aged 19, was found hanging at her residence in Lanu-Tikri belt in Udhampur district, they said.

Fortyfive-year-old Ashok Kumar snuffed out his life in Purkhoo area on the outskirts of Jammu, police said.

He was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his house, they said.

In another incident, 27-year-old Surinder Kaul was found hanging at his residence in Udhaywala area in Jammu.
