3 girls drown in well in Rajasthan village

Three girls drowned in a well in Aalpura village in Rajasthan's Udaipur district today, police said.

The tragedy occurred when Maya, Varsha and Manju, aged between 10 and 12, descended into the well to drink water.

Locals pulled them out of the well and rushed them to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead, police said.

The bodies had been handed over to family members after post mortem, they said.
