3 held on charges of illegal mining

Three persons were arrested on charges of illegal sand mining in Gharbara area here, police said today.

Police launched a special drive against illegal mining and arrested the three last night, they said.

Four tractor-trolleys loaded with sand besides digging equipment were seized at the their behest, police said.

The arrested were Yogesh, Pola and Navin, they said adding the drive against illegal sand mining would continue.
