3 killed, 12 injured in road accident in UP

Three persons, including a minor, were today killed and twelve others were injured when a tempo collided with a truck in Manjhanpur area, police said here.

Rupa (31), her daughter Riya (11) and Akansha (41) were killed when the tempo in which they were travelling collided with the truck near Korai village this afternoon, they said.

Police said that the injured were taken to the district hospital, from where eight have been referred to Allahabad.
