3 killed, 18 injured as bus overturns

Three persons were today killed and 18 others injured when a bus overturned near Ghangri, 80 km from here, the police said.

The mishap happened on NH-2 when the driver lost control over the steering, Barhi sub-divisional police officer Avinash Kumar told reporters.

Attracted by the screams of the passengers, villagers rushed to the spot, pulled out the injured passengers and sent them to a hospital, he added.
