Three persons were killed today and two others seriously injured when their car collided with an stray animal near Malout, police said.
The dead have been identified as Gaurav (24), Bhushan (28) and Krishan (24), they said, adding the injured have been hospitalised.
All of them were resident of Muktsar and going to Hanumangarh in Rajasthan when the accident happed, police said.
The bodies were handed over to the families after the post-mortem.
