3 killed, 8 injured in road mishap

Three persons were killed and eight others injured in a collision between two jeeps in Sikar district of Rajasthan today.

The incident occurred near Alakhpura village under Laxmangarh police station area when the vehicles collided head-on, police said.

Three persons died on the spot and eight others were injured, they said, adding, the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and their condition of five of them was stated to be critical.

Identity of the deceased was being verified, police said.
