3 killed in road accident in Nepal
At least three persons were killed and five others injured in a road accident in western Nepal's Bajhang district, police said.
The accident occurred yesterday when the vehicle plummeted 100 metres down a hilly road in Pathibhara Rural Municipality of Western Nepal.
Five others who sustained injuries in the incident have been admitted to a district hospital.
Nepal has many mountainous areas and most roads are narrow. Most accidents in Nepal are blamed on poorly maintained vehicles and road conditions.
