3 killed in two road accidents

Three persons were killed in two different road mishaps here, police said today.

In the first accident, two cousins died on the spot yesterday when their bike was hit by a tractor near Aminwala village under Dharamkot police station .

Deceased were identified as Balbir Singh and Sukhwant Singh, police said, adding the tractor driver escaped after the mishap.

In another mishap yesterday, a cyclist identified as Nahar Singh was killed by an unidentified vehicle on Moga-Amritsar road.

The accident took place when Nahar was on his way from Janer village to Lohara, police said.
