3-member panel visit Jaipur jail, meet prisoners

A 3-member panel today visited the Jaipur Central Jail and met the prisoners, including those from Pakistan, a top prison official said.

The panel, comprising one Indian and two Pakistanis, met 170 prisoners brought here from different jails of Gujarat and Rajasthan, Jaipur Jail Deputy Superintendent Pramod Kumar said.

The panel also reviewed the status of cases relating to prisoners and several other issues concerning them, he said.
