Three minors drowned in a pond near a private school hostel at Huvinahadagalli in the district today, police said.
Police said four students, all aged about 12, had gone together for swimming when the mishap occurred.
One managed to swim and informed the locals about the fate of three others. The bodies were pulled out with the help of the locals and the police, they said.
