3 narcotics smugglers arrested

Three alleged narcotics smugglers have been arrested from near Kanshi Ram hospital here and 1,800 kilogrammes of ganja seized from them, police said today.

The arrested persons have been identified as Nawab, Dharminder and Sadab, they said.

During interrogation, the trio revealed that they used to supply ganja to slum dwellers and labourers, police said, adding, they were booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
