3 narcotics smugglers arrested; cannabis seized

Three alleged narcotics smugglers were arrested and cannabis was seized from their possession in Badalpur area here, police said today.

During checking of vehicles last night, a swift car was intercepted and 100 KG ganja with a market value of Rs 5 lakh was found in it, they said, adding three persons - Udhanshu Singh, Dheeraj Choudhary and Kailash - travelling in the car were arrested, DSP Rakesh Kumar said.

During interrogation, they revealed that they used to bring cannabis from Nepal via Bihar and take it to Delhi for distribution in NCR areas, police added.
