3 of family electrocuted to death in UP

Three women of a family were killed when they came in contact with a live distribution wire in Haswar area in Ambedkar Nagar district here, police said today.

Bhanumati (55), her daughter-in-laws Sumitra (32) and Sunita (37) were electrocuted when they came in contact with the live wire in Tedwa village yesterday, they said.

A 13-year-old girl Reena was also injured in the incident and had been admitted to hospital, police said, adding, a case has been lodged against unidentified power employees in this regard.
