3 persons arrested with cannabis

Three persons were arrested with 3.1 kg of cannabis here during a routine check from sector 11 of the city, police said today.

On the basis a tip-off police laid a trap and arrested Ajay, a resident of Etah in UP, Ajay and Kishori Lal, both hailing from Rajasthan, yesterday, they said.

Police also recovered drugs worth lakhs of rupees in black market from them, they added.

An FIR was registered at Sector-7 police station under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigations are on, ASI Sanjay said.
