3 sisters die of food poisoning

Three sisters, aged between three and six, died allegedly due to food poisoning in Shahi area, health department officials said here today.

Hemlata (6), Madhubala (4) and Dharmeshwari (3) fell ill in Dod Alampur village on Friday night and their condition deteriorated, they said.

While Hemlata and Madhubala died at home yesterday, Dharmeshwari died at a private hospital today.

Chief Medical Officer Vijay Yadav said that a team of health department visited the village and claimed that the sisters died due to food poisoning.
