Basanti Jena (45) of Raipur, Kalpana Bhakta (24) of Akandi and Kalpana Sasmal (35) of Kainagari were working in their paddy fields.
As they were struck by thunderbolts in different places of the block, lashed by thunderstorm, the trio died on spot, police said.
