3-year-old girl falls off 7th floor flat; dies

A three-year-old girl died after she fell off the seventh floor of an apartment in Kothrud area today, police said.

It appears that Nikita Abhijit Patil, after getting up in the morning, went near the window of the flat in Karishma Society and accidentally fell off, they said.

"When the incident took place, her mother had gone to office and father stepped out to drop his elder daughter to school," said a police officer.
