3 youths drown during idol immersion

Three youths drowned in Ganga river today during Ganesh idol immersion at Naraura Barrage, about 70 kms from here, police said.

Deepak (18), Akash (18) and Aashish (19), all from Aligarh district, drowned during immersion, Circle officer Prem Prakash said.

Bodies of Deepak and Aashish were fished out by the divers, search operations are on to find Akash's body, he added.
