Three youths were hacked to death and another seriously injured, when a gang in a van attacked them with sickles and other weapons, near Sulur on the city outskirts today.
The youths, yet to be identified, were walking when the gang waylaid and attacked them at Chintamanipudur, some 20 km from here, tonight, police said.
The seriously injured youth has been admitted to the government hospital here, they said.
