30-year-old found murdered in Punjab

Police today found a body of a 30-year-old man, who was missing for a day, from the bushes at Boco complex here under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified as Sanju, a resident of Prem Nagar locality here, police said.

Kapil Kumar, Sanju's maternal uncle lodged a complaint stating that he was missing since last night and Sanju's body was found from the bushes in Boco complex today, they said.

His neck had sharp-edged injuries, they added.

Police have registered a case under IPC section 302 (murder) against unknown persons and the body was sent to civil hospital here for postmortem examination.
