A 30-year-old youth, resident of Ambedkar Nagar colony here was shot dead by some unknown assailants and his body was dumped near Bharat City Banthala, police said today..
Deputy SP Anil Yadav said police received information that bullet riddled body of an unidentified youth was lying in road side pits near Bharat City Banthala under Loni police station.
The police reached the spot and identified the youth as Ravi and his body has been sent for autopsy, Yadav said.
An FIR has been registered and investigations are in progress, he added.
