As many as 31 bullocks, including six dead, and 30 quintal of alleged beef from two vehicles near Keltha village here, police said today.
During a vehicle checking yesterday, drivers of two transport vehicles escaped leaving their vehicles behind, they said.
On checking the vehicles, 31 bullocks, including six of them dead, and 30 quintal of alleged cow meat were found, police said, adding the bullocks, the beef and the vehicles were seized.
The vehicles were coming from Mainpuri side, police added.
