Jammu and Kashmir Police today promoted 310 constables and selection grade constables to a higher rank.
Additional Director General of Police (Armed), S M Sahai ordered the promotions of 110 selection grade constables to the rank of head constables and 200 constables to the rank of selection constables, a police spokesman said.
A Departmental Promotion Committee that met today under the chairmanship of Sahai, ordered the promotions, he said.
Congratulating the promotees, the ADGP expressed hope that they will continue to work with same devotion and dedication in future, the spokesman said.
